NetherRealm has revealed Takeda Takahashi as the new DLC fighter for Mortal Kombat 1, available from July 23rd for Kombat Pack owners and July 30th for others. Takeda, a Yakuza fighter with a unique moveset, joins the game alongside other DLC characters and skins. Mortal Kombat 1 is available on multiple platforms, and Mortal Kombat 2 is set to release in cinemas on October 24, 2025.
Ermac, a new downloadable content character for Mortal Kombat 1, will be available on April 16 for Kombat Pack owners and April 23 for all users. The character is a collection of souls bound together by dark magic and possesses devastating abilities. Additionally, a new Kameo Fighter named Mavado will follow in May, offering support moves during matches.
