Yale has introduced its first retrofit smart lock system, the Yale Approach Lock with Wi-Fi, which can be installed in just 10 minutes using a screwdriver and works with most existing deadbolts. The system offers features like Auto-Lock, Auto-Unlock, and remote unlocking via the Yale Access app, and is renter-friendly, allowing continued use of the same keys. Additionally, the Yale Keypad, compatible with the Yale Approach and other products, offers personalized code access and weather resistance. Both items are available in the US, with plans for release in Canada, and are priced at $130 for the Yale Approach, $70 for the Yale Keypad, and $180 for a bundle.
