
Keenan Anderson's Family Files $100M Wrongful Death Suit Against LAPD
The family of Keenan Anderson, who died after being repeatedly tased by LAPD officers in January, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the city and members of the department. Anderson, an English teacher visiting from Washington DC, was having a mental health crisis and was not a threat to anyone, according to civil rights attorney Ben Crump. The family is seeking $100 million in damages. The LAPD has not commented on the ongoing litigation.
