Maloy led in 12 out of 13 counties in Utah's 2nd Congressional District, while Riebe had the lead in Democrat-heavy Salt Lake County. Maloy, a first-time candidate and former staffer in Chris Stewart's office, focused on her rural roots during the campaign. The win maintains Utah's all-GOP congressional delegation.
