Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) senior leader and MLA Kadiyam Srihari, along with his daughter Kadiyam Kavya, have joined the Congress party in Telangana, following an invitation from Congress leaders. Srihari, a former Deputy Chief Minister, made the decision after a meeting with his followers. The move comes after Kavya withdrew from contesting the Warangal Lok Sabha seat and criticized BRS leadership. This development follows the joining of Hyderabad Mayor Vijayalaxmi Gadwal and MP K. Keshava Rao into the Congress party.
