Emotional Tribute to Johnny Gaudreau at Saddledome

The Calgary Flames and Columbus Blue Jackets held an emotional tribute for former player Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew, who died in a bike accident. The Gaudreau family participated in a ceremonial face-off, and both teams wore Gaudreau jerseys during warmups. Flames goaltender Dan Vladar wore a special mask, and Johnny was posthumously named the first star of the game after Calgary's 3-0 win. Blue Jackets stun Penguins in OT to end season.

Johnny Gaudreau scored the game-winning goal in overtime as the Columbus Blue Jackets rallied to defeat the Pittsburgh Penguins 3-2. Emil Bemstrom scored the tying goal on the power play in the third period, with Mikael Pyyhtia and Stanislav Svozil making their NHL debuts and getting assists. Andrew Peeke also scored, and Michael Hutchinson made 34 saves for the Blue Jackets. Kris Letang and Jake Guentzel scored for the Penguins, who were eliminated from playoff contention for the first time since 2006.
