Issa exits race in newly drawn, Democrat-leaning district, backs Desmond
Veteran Rep. Darrell Issa will not seek reelection in his newly configured San Diego–Riverside district, which now leans Democratic after Proposition 50, and he is endorsing San Diego County Supervisor Jim Desmond to succeed him.
