Tragic Jetski Accident Claims Life of Former Democratic Tennessee Lawmaker
Former Tennessee state lawmaker and former chair of the Tennessee Democratic Party, Roy Herron, has passed away at the age of 69 after sustaining injuries in a jetski accident. Herron served 26 years in the legislature and was known for his strong moral compass, work ethic, and devotion to his family. He was a champion for rural Tennesseans and authored several books. Herron's funeral arrangements are pending.
