Texans OC Bobby Slowik and QBs Coach Jerrod Johnson Re-Sign with Team
Houston Texans offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik and quarterbacks coach Jerrod Johnson have decided to stay in Houston for the 2024 season after interviewing for other coaching positions. Slowik, who had interviews with the Seattle Seahawks and Washington Commanders, led a productive offense that contributed to the team's 10-7 record and AFC South title. Quarterback C.J. Stroud, under Slowik's guidance, had an impressive rookie season. With Slowik and Johnson remaining with the team, head coach DeMeco Ryans will have the same offensive staff for another season.
