Rams elevate Scheelhaase to OC, add Ragone as co-OC
The Los Angeles Rams promoted Nate Scheelhaase from pass-game coordinator to offensive coordinator, replacing Mike LaFleur who left for the Cardinals, and named quarterbacks coach Dave Ragone as co-offensive coordinator. Scheelhaase, a former Illinois quarterback who has coached with the Rams for two years and previously served as Iowa State’s OC, is widely viewed as a future NFL head coach, and the move positions him as Sean McVay’s top offensive lieutenant.
