Controversial Call: Was Jaylin Noel Really Out of Bounds?
Iowa State's Jaylin Noel appeared to have returned a kickoff 80 yards to inside the 3-yard line during a game against Kansas, but officials ruled him out of bounds at the 31-yard line. Video replays and images suggest that Noel was actually inbounds, but the ruling was not reviewable. Iowa State lost yardage on subsequent plays and ultimately lost the game. The NCAA's rule preventing video review to determine if a player was inbounds is being questioned.
