Former Wichita State player Jaykwon Walton, who had committed to transfer to the University of Alabama, has been arrested on a charge of second-degree possession of marijuana. As a result, Alabama coach Nate Oats announced that the university is no longer recruiting Walton. Walton and another individual were arrested after police found marijuana and loaded firearms in their vehicle. Walton had averaged 13.9 points and 5.3 rebounds last season for Wichita State.
