Okami 2 Announced with Hideki Kamiya as Director
Okami 2, the sequel to the 2006 critically acclaimed game Okami, has been announced at The Game Awards 2024. The game will feature the return of its signature animation style and main character, the sun goddess Okami Amaterasu. Hideki Kamiya, the original creator, will direct the sequel, marking his return to Capcom after leaving Platinum Games. No release date has been set yet. The event also featured announcements for other major games like Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet and The Witcher 4.
