A top staffer for New York Congressman George Santos, Viswanag “Vish” Burra, is reportedly facing disciplinary action after he harassed freelance reporter Jacqueline Sweet in a series of threatening tweets. Burra, who is Santos’ director of operations, suggested that Sweet wanted to have sex with him and made other inappropriate comments. The tweets have since been deleted, and Santos’ communications director has stated that disciplinary action will be taken. Burra previously worked as a producer on Steve Bannon’s podcast and has a history of working for controversial figures.
