
Waikiki Beach hotel undergoes rebranding and management change, bidding farewell to Trump name
The Trump International Hotel Waikiki in Hawaii will undergo a rebranding and management change, with the new name being Wākea Waikiki Beach. Owner Irongate reached a mutual agreement with Trump Hotels to buy out the hotel management and license agreements, leading to the rebranding. LXR Hotels & Resorts will take over as the hotel's new manager. The 462-unit hotel will also undergo significant renovations starting in early 2025. Hawaii remains a popular tourist destination, attracting millions of visitors each year.
