The Death Match that Doomed Tucker Carlson at Fox
Tucker Carlson's attempt to get Fox News' communications and PR chief, Irena Briganti, fired backfired and helped erode his goodwill among the Fox News executive class, ultimately contributing to his ouster from the network. Carlson had accused Briganti of being generally incompetent and mean-spirited, and of engaging in dirty tricks against him and other hosts and contributors. The failed attempt to oust Briganti also exacerbated their already terrible relationship, with Carlson repeatedly referring to her using misogynistic epithets.
