
Michigan LDS Church Shooting Suspect Thomas Sanford, Iraq War Veteran, Leaves Two Dead and Eight Injured
Thomas Jacob Sanford, a 40-year-old Iraq War veteran and former Marine, drove into a Michigan LDS church, opened fire, and set it on fire, resulting in at least four deaths and eight injuries; he was killed in a police shootout. His military service included one combat tour in Iraq, and his motives remain unknown.
