Global rallies show solidarity with Iran’s protesters as reformist hopes rise
Hundreds of thousands joined solidarity rallies for Iran’s anti-government protesters across the globe, with exiled prince Reza Pahlavi in Munich pledging to lead a secular democratic transition; demonstrations also took place in Los Angeles, Toronto, Tel Aviv, Lisbon, Sydney and London as rights groups say the crackdown has killed thousands and arrested tens of thousands, while Iran-U.S. talks and regional tensions continue in parallel.
