"Kremlin's 'Invisibility Cloak' Could Make Russian Troops Vanish"
Russia has developed and deployed new camouflage technology for its troops, dubbed "invisibility cloaks," as part of its military doctrine of 'maskirovka' to mislead adversaries about troop presence and movements. The technology, developed by Russian firm HiderX, includes a lightweight suit that conceals heat signatures and has been tested in Ukraine. The suit consists of three layers to reflect and absorb infrared radiation, providing effective cover as close as two meters away from the soldier using it.
