Cooper, a Labrador retriever, walked nearly 40 miles to his original home after being surrendered to a dog pound by his family and rehomed to live with a new owner. The dog relied on his instinct to guide himself to the place he originally thought of as his home, without any known human assistance and without being given any meal. Cooper's new owner was in disbelief when he returned home after vanishing for 27 days and praised the incredible help he received during the search.
