AMD and Meta Expand AI Compute Pact to 6 GW of Instinct GPUs
AMD and Meta have broadened their multi-year partnership to deploy up to 6 gigawatts of AMD Instinct GPUs across multiple generations, beginning with a MI450-based GPU on the Helios rack-scale architecture for Meta’s AI workloads, with shipments for the first gigawatt due in the second half of 2026; the deal also deepens collaboration on 6th‑Gen EPYC CPUs codenamed Venice (and Verano) and expands a performance-based stock warrant of up to 160 million shares tied to milestones, aligning silicon, systems and software roadmaps to accelerate global AI infrastructure deployment.
