Teen GTA 6 hacker indefinitely detained in secure hospital
Arion Kurtaj, an 18-year-old hacker and member of the Lapsus$ cyber-crime gang, has been sentenced to an indefinite hospital order after leaking clips of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto (GTA) game. Due to his acute autism, Kurtaj was deemed unfit to stand trial, but a jury determined that he committed the alleged acts. The judge stated that Kurtaj's skills and motivation to commit cyber-crime made him a high risk to the public. Kurtaj will remain in a secure hospital unless doctors deem him no longer dangerous. The Lapsus$ gang's attacks on tech giants cost the companies nearly $10 million.
