Xbox Games Showcase: No Full CG Trailers, Big Promises Made.

During the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase, none of Microsoft's first-party games will be "full CG trailers," according to Aaron Greenberg, the vice president of Xbox games marketing at Microsoft. Instead, every first-party trailer will be "either in-game footage, in-engine footage, or in-game footage with some cinematic," and each trailer will be labeled appropriately. The showcase is set to feature roughly two hours of non-stop games, including Starfield.

Xbox has confirmed that none of its first-party trailers during the upcoming Games Showcase will be full CG footage. The trailers will either feature in-game footage, in-engine footage, or in-game footage with some cinematics. The Showcase will be followed by a Starfield Direct presentation, focusing solely on Bethesda's upcoming Xbox exclusive Starfield. The event will run for around two hours and will include new game announcements and updates on previously announced titles.
