Leaders of Japan, South Korea, and US unite to address regional challenges.

Japan's Prime Minister and South Korea's President visited a memorial to Korean victims of the atomic bombing in Hiroshima, in a sign of improving ties between the two countries. Japan's Kishida and South Korea's Yoon strengthen ties amid North Korea threat.

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and South Korean leader Yoon Suk-yeol met in Seoul to maintain momentum for bettering ties between their countries. They agreed on several issues, including dispatching South Korean experts to Japan to conduct a scientific analysis of Tokyo's plan to release treated radioactive water into the sea from the Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant.
