Illegal Chinese-Run Virus Lab Discovered in California Raises Concerns
An illegal medical lab was discovered in Reedley, California, containing bioengineered mice, infectious agents, and thousands of vials with bio-hazardous materials. The investigation was prompted by a garden hose illegally attached to the building. Health officials found over 800 different chemicals, including unknown substances, and identified at least 20 potentially infectious viral, bacterial, and parasitic agents. The lab claimed to be testing mice for COVID-19 test kits. Local, state, and federal agencies worked to remove the materials, and a criminal investigation is ongoing. All the mice had to be euthanized.
