IFC Films President Arianna Bocco Departs, John Vanco Joins Netflix.

Arianna Bocco has stepped down as president of IFC Films, a major force in the world of independent film, and will be replaced on an interim basis by Scott Shooman. IFC, owned by AMC Networks, will conduct a search for a permanent replacement. Bocco oversaw the release of acclaimed films such as "Corsage," "Benedetta," and "Happening" while growing the label's streaming service, IFC Films Unlimited. Bocco had been at the company for more than a decade before becoming president in 2020. Shooman joined IFC in 2022 and was previously an acquisitions executive at CBS Films and Sony Pictures.
