Leadership Changes at IFC Films and Netflix's Theaters
Arianna Bocco, President of IFC Films, has stepped down from her post after 17 years with the company. She will be replaced in the interim by IFC Head of Acquisitions Scott Shooman, while the search for a new long-term replacement is underway. Bocco was named President of IFC Films in December 2020 and has spearheaded all feature pickups at the company. Under her oversee, the label has acquired, produced and distributed hundreds of movies including Richard Linklater’s Boyhood and Cristian Mungiu’s Palme d’Or winner 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days.
