The BBC and Amazon have ordered a supercharged two-season renewal of "The Night Manager," with Tom Hiddleston returning to star and Hugh Laurie as executive producer. The new season will pick up eight years after the first, going beyond the original book, and will be directed by Georgi Banks-Davies. The first season was a huge success, winning multiple awards, and the new season is set to begin filming later this year.
Netflix has released a teaser trailer and first-look images for its upcoming limited series, All the Light We Cannot See, based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name. The series follows the lives of a blind French girl and an orphaned German boy during World War II, whose paths converge in St. Malo. The series stars Mark Ruffalo, Hugh Laurie, and newcomer Aria Mia Loberti, and is directed by Shawn Levy, who also produced Stranger Things and Shadow and Bone. All the Light We Cannot See will premiere on Netflix on November 2.
