NBCUniversal plans to open a year-round horror-themed attraction called Universal Horror Unleashed in Chicago near Bally’s Casino in 2027, creating over 400 jobs and revitalizing the neighborhood with haunted mazes, themed bars, and shopping, supported by state tax incentives.
Universal Destinations & Experiences has announced the name of its new horror attraction in Las Vegas, Universal Horror Unleashed. The year-round horror experience will be located in AREA15 and will combine Universal's expertise in horror storytelling with immersive experiences. The attraction will feature themed eateries, bar areas, and continuously updated experiences, including seasonal events and merchandise. This permanent horror attraction is separate from Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights events and is part of the company's expansion plans, which include a theme park in Texas, facial recognition technology for a Florida theme park, a DreamWorks Animation-themed land in Orlando, and a Fast & Furious Rollercoaster in Universal Hollywood.
