Gervonta Davis' House Arrest Ends in Custody

Boxing champion Gervonta Davis has been ordered to jail by a Baltimore judge after it was discovered that he had been serving his home detention sentence for a 2020 hit-and-run at the Four Seasons Hotel and a $3.4 million high-rise penthouse that he bought in South Baltimore. The judge had given permission for Davis to do the house arrest at the home of his longtime coach and trainer, Calvin Ford, in Baltimore, but Davis had been living in Parkland, Florida. Davis' attorney repeatedly told the judge to blame him for the situation.

Boxer Gervonta Davis has been ordered to serve the remainder of his 90-day home detention sentence in jail for a 2020 hit-and-run case. Davis' attorney confirmed the amended sentence but provided no further comment. The sentencing came just a couple of weeks after his biggest fight and win of his boxing career, a seventh round TKO win over Ryan Garcia in Las Vegas. The amended sentencing shouldn't affect his boxing career, as there's been nothing firmly rumored for Davis' in-ring return anyway.

Boxing Champ Gervonta Davis Sentenced to House Arrest for Hit-and-Run

Baltimore-native boxing champion Gervonta Davis has been sentenced to 90 days of home detention in Baltimore City for his involvement in a hit-and-run crash that left four people injured, including a pregnant woman. Davis must also attend a Mothers Against Drunk Driving panel, the Shock Trauma program, and perform 200 hours of community service. He will serve three years of supervised probation. One of the victims called Davis out for never apologizing, and the judge added, "Three words -- 'I am sorry' -- and you're not man enough to say them."

Riley had messaged with a rioter from the insurrection and deleted those messages when he learned he was being investigated. He was the only Capitol Police officer to face a criminal charge related to Jan. 6. Riley's lawyer cited his spotless career with Capitol Police as a reason for probation, while prosecutors asked for 27 months in prison.

Former Colorado Clerk Tina Peters Sentenced to Home Detention and Community Service for Obstruction Conviction.

Tina Peters, a former clerk in Mesa County, Colorado, and a Trump loyalist, has been sentenced to four months of home detention and 120 hours of community service after being convicted of obstruction charges related to stonewalling investigators from the district attorney's office in Mesa County. Peters, who is also awaiting trial in a voting equipment tampering case, was fined $750 and ordered to wear an ankle monitor. She has been a leading election denier in Colorado and promoted former President Donald J. Trump's false claims that the 2020 election had been stolen.
