Rescued Alive: 68-Year-Old Surfer Found After Overnight Puerto Rico Coast Guard Operation
A 68-year-old man who went surfing near Surfer’s Beach in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, was reported missing after failing to return to his Airbnb. More than 30 hours later, the Coast Guard located him stranded on rocks and hoisted him to safety by helicopter; officials praised the inter-agency effort and urged beachgoers to have a safety plan and tell someone before going into the water.
