
Chebet Claims Back-to-Back Boston Marathon Men's Titles.
Evans Chebet of Kenya won the Boston Marathon men's title for the second year in a row, finishing in an unofficial time of 2:05:54. Defending champion Benson Kipruto and Gabriel Geay finished second and third respectively, while world-record holder Eliud Kipchoge finished sixth. In the women's race, Hellen Obiri won in an unofficial time of 2:21:38. The race also included a nonbinary division for the first time, with 27 athletes registered. The event marked the 10-year anniversary of the finish line bombing that killed three people and wounded hundreds more.
