Max Homa dominates at hometown U.S. Open with course record and warning to competitors.

"MBTA and Runners Prepare for Boston Marathon Weekend"

The Boston Marathon is a special race that takes place on Patriots' Day, with 30,000 runners starting in Hopkinton and finishing in Copley Square. The course is challenging, with a mostly downhill first 16 miles followed by uphill stretches, including the infamous Heartbreak Hill. The race is a teapot on a slow boil, and runners should stay relaxed and take it one step at a time. The course includes beautiful spots like Lake Cochituate and the Wellesley Scream Tunnel. The final stretch includes a significant rise around the 25-mile mark and the iconic "Right on Hereford, left on Boylston" before the finish line.
