Interfaith groups like NewGround, a Muslim-Jewish partnership for change, have been working to bring together Jewish and Muslim communities in the midst of the Israel-Hamas conflict. These groups aim to foster understanding and dialogue, focusing on shared issues such as poverty and climate change. Despite the difficulties of the current war, members of these communities are finding inspiration in the conversations and interactions taking place, emphasizing the importance of reaching out, listening, and holding compassion for one another. They encourage individuals to start with themselves, be true to their values, and engage in radical listening to disarm anger and foster healing and reconciliation.

The Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah has confirmed that the bodies of 12 children have been found buried at the site of a former Indigenous boarding school in southern Utah. The discovery comes after ground-penetrating radar work was conducted, confirming the tribe's oral histories of children dying at the school. The tribe plans to honor and memorialize the children's suffering through a culturally appropriate interment. The findings highlight the historical abuse and mistreatment of Native American students at boarding schools, and coincide with the U.S. Department of Interior's efforts to investigate and address the abuse of Native students at such institutions.
