Honoring Justice Sandra Day O'Connor: Flags at Half-Staff and Memorial Services
Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont has ordered flags to be flown at half-staff on December 18-19 to honor the late Sandra Day O'Connor, the first female justice to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court. O'Connor, who passed away on December 1 at the age of 93, is remembered for her commitment to protecting American rights and building a fair justice system. Funeral services will be held at the Washington National Cathedral on Tuesday.
