"Rolling Stone's Top Editor Resigns"
Noah Shachtman, the editor in chief of Rolling Stone, is resigning at the end of the month due to editorial differences with the chief executive, Gus Wenner. His last day running the magazine will be March 1, and he will be replaced in the interim by Sean Woods and Lisa Tozzi. Shachtman, who brought investigative sensibility to the magazine, will continue as a contributing writer. Rolling Stone has been expanding beyond its traditional roots, but faced a crisis last year when Jann Wenner, Gus Wenner's father, made controversial comments and was ousted from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation.
