Pitt basketball staff has reached out to West Virginia transfer guard Joe Toussaint, who has a long list of programs after him already, including Gonzaga, Kansas State, Oklahoma, St. John’s, Notre Dame, Seton Hall, Georgetown, and others. Toussaint, a graduate transfer, averaged 9.4 points per game last season for the Mountaineers and would serve as the third transfer to join the Pitt program if he decides to commit.
Tray Jackson, a graduate transfer from Seton Hall, has officially signed with the Michigan men's basketball team. The 6-foot-10 forward appeared in 29 games off the bench last season, averaging 6.5 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. He is the second graduate transfer to be announced by Michigan in as many days, following the announcement of Olivier Nkamhoua from Tennessee. Michigan also received a commitment from Alabama guard Nimari Burnett in March.

Jackson is a Detroit native who spent a post-graduate prep year at Sunrise Christian Academy before heading to Missouri. He then transferred to Seton Hall, where he played in 32 games and averaged 6.5 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. Jackson is the second grad transfer to join the Wolverines this offseason, following Olivier Nkamhoua's addition from Tennessee.
Isaac Mushila, a graduate transfer forward from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, has announced that he will be joining the University of New Mexico Lobos for the 2023-24 season. Mushila, who has been dominating the boards since coming to the United States from Congo in 2016, averaged 14.5 points and 9.9 rebounds per game this past season. He becomes the fourth Division I transfer to join the Lobos this offseason, and will bring a psychology degree and a 3.43 GPA with him to Albuquerque.
Florida State defensive end Derrick McLendon has entered the Transfer Portal as a graduate transfer, after recording 7 sacks over the past two seasons. McLendon, a rising redshirt junior, was part of FSU’s 2019 recruiting class. He was expected to either start again or at least be a primary part of the four-man rotation as FSU emphasized building depth in the trenches this offseason. As a graduate transfer, McLendon can enter the NCAA's transfer database outside of the post-spring window for undergrads.
