The Miami Dolphins have elevated linebacker Derrick McLendon and running back Jeff Wilson Jr. to their active roster for Sunday's game, with both players bringing experience from college and previous NFL seasons.
Florida State defensive end Derrick McLendon has entered the Transfer Portal as a graduate transfer, after recording 7 sacks over the past two seasons. McLendon, a rising redshirt junior, was part of FSU’s 2019 recruiting class. He was expected to either start again or at least be a primary part of the four-man rotation as FSU emphasized building depth in the trenches this offseason. As a graduate transfer, McLendon can enter the NCAA's transfer database outside of the post-spring window for undergrads.
