Tragic Deaths in Glacier National Park

A 28-year-old woman fell from a rocky overhang and into Avalanche Creek at Montana's Glacier National Park on Monday afternoon and was swept into a gorge. Bystanders pulled her out and began CPR, but she was pronounced dead. The woman's identity was not released, and the park service extended their condolences to her family and friends.

A 28-year-old woman from Kansas died after falling into a creek in Glacier National Park and being swept into a gorge. The woman fell from a rocky overhang into Avalanche Creek on Monday afternoon. Bystanders waded into the creek and pulled the woman out. They performed CPR and called 911, but emergency responders declared her dead at the scene.
