Greek conservatives win big as far-right parties make comeback
The center-right New Democracy party won a landslide victory in Greece's election, while the far-right Spartans party, endorsed by a jailed former lawmaker from the neo-Nazi Golden Dawn party, won seats in parliament. The ultra-religious Niki party and nationalist Hellenic Solution were also returned to parliament. The surge in far-right support highlights the need to understand why voters are turning away from the center without compromising liberal values.
