Kevin Konther, a California man, has been sentenced to 140 years in prison for the rapes of a girl in 1995 and a woman in 1998, after attempting to blame his identical twin brother for the crimes. The twin brothers were arrested in 2019 after genealogy technology connected them to the crimes, and conversations secretly recorded between them further incriminated Konther. He was also convicted of molesting his former girlfriend’s daughter and will not be eligible for parole.
