Six people were injured, two with life threatening injuries, after a heating, ventilation and air conditioning system collapsed into a resort pool in Aurora, Colorado on Saturday. The Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center said it was "devastated" by the incident and is working with experts to conduct a thorough investigation. The HVAC system, which was mounted on the ceiling, covered nearly the entire area of the pool, and officials estimated there were around 50 to 100 people in the pool when the incident occurred.

Six people were injured, two of them with life-threatening injuries, when HVAC equipment collapsed into the indoor pool area of the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center in Aurora, Colorado. The Aurora Fire Rescue department responded to multiple calls and sent several units to the scene. Between 50 and 100 guests were estimated to be inside the pool area at the time of the collapse. The cause of the collapse is still unknown.

At least six people were injured when a mechanical structure collapsed in the indoor pool area of the Gaylord Rockies Resort in Aurora, Colorado. The Aurora Fire Department received a call for a structural collapse at the hotel and transported two people with critical injuries to local area hospitals and another four with non-life-threatening injuries.
