"Cold Front Discovered in Massive Galaxy Cluster"
Astronomers from India and South Africa have detected sloshing cold fronts in the intracluster medium of the massive galaxy cluster Abell 2566 using data from NASA's Chandra X-ray observatory. The findings, published on arXiv, reveal unusual spiral-shaped gas sloshing and cold fronts, likely caused by a minor merger and displacement of the cluster's gravitational potential well.
