Despite offering his voice work for free, Newbon waited nearly two years for a response from the mod's developers. The delay was due to a missed message, but Newbon holds no grudges and appreciates the passion of the development team. He emphasized that actors often work on projects for the love of the craft, regardless of their success.

"Mini Wii: Custom Parts Shrink Console to Deck of Cards Size"

A modder has created what may be the smallest Nintendo Wii yet, roughly the size of a deck of cards, using a custom-built housing and original Wii motherboard cut down to the bare basics. Specialized PCBs handle power, data, video output, and memory, while additional custom PCBs were designed for power, micro SD card, HDMI connector, controller ports, and buttons. The build, nicknamed Short Stack, is just 7.4% the volume of an original Wii, and the modder believes it's possible to go even smaller in the future.

"Dragon's Dogma 2 Community Innovates to Combat Dragonsplague"

Modders for Dragon's Dogma 2 have created tweaks to address the controversial Dragonsplague mechanic, including a mod that adds a counter to indicate a Pawn's infection level, another that removes the system entirely, and one that provides a cure for infected Pawns. Players have also been using rotten food to warn others of infected Pawns.

Intel XeSS boosts Cyberpunk 2077 performance on Arc GPUs by over 70%.

The latest hotfix for Cyberpunk 2077 focuses on fixing some of the most common hard crashes that players were facing, and won't change the game's version but might affect mods. The previous update brought massive changes to the game, including real-time path-tracing, DLAA, Intel XESS, benchmark improvements, and more. The hotfix update for April 2023 is available on various platforms.
