Shawn Elliott, former South Carolina assistant coach and interim head coach, is returning to the Gamecocks as the tight ends coach and run-game coordinator after serving as Georgia State's head coach for seven seasons. Aliyah Boston, the 2022 National Player of the Year at South Carolina, has declared for the 2023 WNBA Draft, forgoing one season of remaining eligibility.
