Microsoft is testing updates to the Xbox PC app and consoles that will enable cloud games to follow players across devices, including PCs, Xbox consoles, and handhelds, with a new play history feature that displays recently played cloud games and syncs game progress and saves across platforms.
Larian Studios has warned Xbox players of Baldur's Gate 3 that there is a risk of losing game saves if the game crashes. To avoid this issue, players are advised to manually update their Xbox Series X/S system software through the Settings menu. The Xbox version of Baldur's Gate 3 was delayed due to difficulties with implementing split-screen cooperative mode on the Xbox Series S, but it is now feature-comparable to other platforms.
