Samsung's upcoming One UI 6.1 update is rumored to include a "Protect Battery" toggle with three settings: Basic, Adaptive, and Max. The Basic setting stops charging at 100% and resumes at 95%, while Adaptive charges the phone to 80% during sleep and finishes at 100% before waking up. The Max setting simply stops charging at 80%, promoting a healthier battery life. The One UI 6.1 beta program is expected to launch soon, with the Galaxy S23 series likely being the first eligible for the update.
