MultiVersus Goes Offline Ahead of 2024 Relaunch
MultiVersus Open Beta will be taken offline on June 25, removing all online multiplayer options and components from use. Players will still have access to local matches and The Lab for training options. The full version of MultiVersus is set to release in early 2024 with more characters, modes, stages, and content. The game had a historic launch with over 10 million downloads, but updates suddenly stopped coming after Season 2 began. Developers are focusing on improving the game to recapture its magic.
