A judge denied a motion to dismiss charges against former Marine Daniel Penny, who is facing manslaughter charges for killing Jordan Neely, a homeless man, on a New York City subway train. Penny, who pleaded not guilty, was captured on video putting Neely in a chokehold, leading to his death. The killing sparked public debate, with Penny claiming self-defense and others viewing Neely as a victim.
