Ex-FBI Agent McGonigal Admits Concealing Payments and Pleads Guilty in Payment Plot

Former FBI agent Charles McGonigal pleaded guilty to concealing $225,000 in cash payments from a former Albanian intelligence officer and prospective business partner. McGonigal, who had already pleaded guilty to a conspiracy charge related to his work for Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, faced a nine-count indictment in Washington for failing to report cash payments and trips to Europe. The trips were intended to lay the groundwork for a security consulting business. McGonigal apologized to the FBI and could face up to five years in prison, although prosecutors are expected to seek a more lenient sentence.

Imran Khan confronts Bilawal Bhutto over India visit and Kashmir stance.

Imran Khan, the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), criticized Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for their foreign trips amid the country's current "crises". Khan questioned the benefit of Bilawal's trip to India to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO)'s Council of Foreign Ministers meeting in Goa. The PTI chief alleged that Pakistan backed terrorists in Kashmir and the Pakistan foreign minister's position was "found out and called out".
